The new legal form for startups and innovation in Austria
Since 2024, the Flexible Capital Company (FlexCo) has been available to founders, investors and innovative companies in Austria.
This modern legal form combines the strengths of existing corporate forms and has been specifically tailored to the needs of the startup ecosystem.
What makes FlexCo special?
The FlexCo combines the advantages of a GmbH – such as simple establishment and a manageable structure – with elements of a AG, such as flexible participation models and improved opportunities for raising capital.
With a reduced minimum share capital of only €10,000, it facilitates access to entrepreneurship while creating clear regulations for employee participation and investors.
